In Portland, Oregon: an idea sprung out of necessity and creativity. A loop was needed, but only cable ties were on hand. The cable ties self-tightened, which exposed a weakness. An idea formulated around how the cable ties could be modified to allow the formed loop to be secured. The concept was researched, no existing products were found, and Loop Ties LLC formed to pursue a patent on the idea.
Development of the idea continued, eventually Loop Ties LLC relocated and became Loop Ties Limited in New Zealand.
