Loop Ties™ are an evolution of the cable tie; which increases the versatility of an already successful and tremendously useful design.
Loop Ties™ = Cable Ties 2.0
Loop Ties™ can be locked in a desired loop size allowing the fastener to be used in a loose state (forming a loop that allows objects within it to move, and preventing self-tightening).
The design of regular cable ties is optimized for them being used in a state of tension. The design allows cable ties to self-tightening when not cinched tightly around objects (through vibrations, movement etc).
Two main variants of Loop Ties™ exist:
1) Head-locking Loop Tie™: Integrated loop-locking features on Loop Ties™ prevent self-tightening.
End users can use them exactly like a cable tie, or form loops that won’t change in size. and they have the built in “loop size/diameter security” function so Loop Ties™ can be used in new, innovative ways.
2) Fixed loop Loop Tie™: A feature on the tail of the fastener prevents the formed loop from becoming smaller than a predetermined size – particularly useful where over-tightening is an issue.
